So it's been a while since I've caught Lexi on video dancing, despite it being a common occurrence. She seems to become camera shy when I record her, but I got a decent video tonight. So last night, we were watching "Bedtime Stories" with my parents, sister in law, Mandy, and niece, Lucy. A few times, including the end credits, the song "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey came on, and Lexi just went crazy! It was hilarious how she just started dancing and waving her arms all over. I tried to get an essence of it in this video since I happen to have that song on my computer...
It's not quite as good, but you get the idea. (Sorry it's so long...My video player is the freebie kind that doesn't let you edit it down.)

Easter Pics
So one perk of having two adorable daughters is that you can dress them up alike on various holidays, should you so choose. And I so chose.
(The onesies were necessary because it was so cold outside)
Lexi ended up being changed into tights too, as it was snowing like crazy outside...same as last year... the weather keeps forgetting this is a spring holiday, not winter... (grumble) Thus, Lexi's beautiful curls were straight by the middle of the day. Ho hum...
Lexi also got to do a small Easter egg hunt around the living room on Saturday, and then ate too many jelly beans throughout the course of the rest of the day. Oh well. We watched "Bolt" together before Daddy had to run off to work, and Lexi loved it (of course). We did see it in the theater, but she refused to wear the 3D glasses, so it was a blur to her, meaning we were walking around the theater more than watching the movie... Hence why most parents of young children are found in the dollar movie theaters...pay less to walk the halls. :-)
On Sunday, we visited family and I snapped this picture of Lexi while Grandpa Leavitt was holding Carissa...She was so happy!

Hanging out in Lexi's Bed
This is a picture I snapped right after Lexi woke up from her nap. Lexi was having a hard time waking up, so I laid Carissa next to her to cheer her up. Looking at it, it kinda makes Carissa look bigger than she actually is...Probably because Lexi is a little petite thing herself. I remember her looking so small to me and then now that I have Carissa, she seems like such a big girl. But in all reality, they're both still small. Lexi is pushing 23 lbs here, at almost 22 months of age, and Carissa is a little under 6 lbs. Carissa is wearing a premie sized onesie here, as well as diapers:

Sisterly Love
So much to my surprise, Lexi is absolutely loving her baby sister. We'll enjoy it for as long as it lasts. Eddie has had to learn the art of holding both girls in his arms at times to keep the peace, but she loves being our helper and getting diapers for the baby, throwing away the dirty ones, and any other little jobs she can do. Here's a video of the two of them from tonight:
Eddie has been good about getting the girls to sleep this week too. It's like being in daddy's arms is as good as a sleeping pill. Here's a snapshot I got earlier this week. Notice how tiny Carissa gets all curled up on his chest:
Here we were trying to get Lexi to kiss and hug Carissa, but she always says "cheese" when she sees the camera:
