Chipotle Night

We had Chipotle for dinner tonight for a simple treat and they made a special "mini-fajita burrito" for Lexi. See how we all enjoyed our extra delicious meal:

Halloween Preview

We bought Lexi her costume this week and tried it on her. She really liked it and had fun showing it off. For you Star Wars fans, she is about the same height as Yoda is, just over 2 ft, so this is a actual size model of what he is like, especially with her big head. :-)

Mom and Dad's Little Helper

Lexi has recently decided she can throw away her dirty diapers for us, so we let her. We just have to push them down through the smell barrier after she goes away.

Good Sunday

So today was Lexi's first day in the nursery and I was so impressed at how well she did! Yes, she did start 3 months earlier than she should've, but Mom and Dad are nursery leaders now, so she gets to go by default, which I'm more than happy to do. This was probably her best Sunday since being born, so that should say something. She did get a little jealous of Dad's attention near the end, but I was expecting it the whole time, so it was no surprise.

After church, when we all got out of our Sunday duds, Lexi chose various pieces of clothing for Dad to dress her in... Let's just say Mom will still be dressing her when we go out in public. :-)

Then we thought hard about what to have for dinner and here's the finished product. Lexi ate a good portion of her's, which was good, cause she had a cold this past week and didn't eat too well during that time.

I don't know why I do these things when Eddie's not home to help me clean up, but I do. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment. But I really wanted pudding, and you can't eat something in front of a kid unless your willing to share, or else, meltdown. So Lexi got pudding too, but I'm learning that maybe these treats are better when two parents can tag team in cleaning the kitchen and child. I decided to clean the floor before her bath, to avoid her playing in it while I was cleaning and she was already clean. But I failed to realize that the chocolate covered child I was working beneath was going to be bored soon and pull my hair with her chocolate covered hands...which she did. This experience has made me appreciate the new fake tile that was put in our dining room. Now Lexi wants to type: klfd 83mz tyk 875yhe"zzx'lpo ]]21] ]v 77 hh

Note: in the video, you get to hear her new favorite word, "Uh oh"...we hear it alot, and usually in context :-)

Lexi's Doodle

Lexi has been scribbling with my pencils lately so I got her some twistable crayons to draw with. I wanted to get the ones made for kids her age, but they were toooooo expensive right now. :-) Here her work of art from today.

Lexi's Room

So it only took me 1 and 1/2 months, but I finally got Lexi's bedroom organized. I was waiting on a silly bookshelf, which I finally got on Friday and put together yesterday...so now her room is relatively clean...she still enjoys pulling all her books off the shelf, but it's much better than it was. I also finally have an excuse to get out my Tinkerbell stuff... so it's cute for now... the room will have to be reorganized come April when Lexi will have to be in her new bed, but we'll hit that bump in the road when it comes.

Our new alien, er, I mean, baby...

So we're expecting baby #2 this April. Lexi is still learning that Mom doesn't like her jumping on Mom's tummy, but she'll get better. These ultrasounds are mainly for doctors anyway, 'cause otherwise, I would be silly to say "Oh, it's so cute"... so there's a pic of our alien, soon to be human.

Eddie and the big 25

Eddie turned a quarter century old on Monday. We just spent the day having fun- We finally saw Dark Knight, which he's been dying to see, we went out to eat at P.F. Chang's, and then had some family over for cake that evening. :-)

Lexi in Leopard Print

So I got this cute dress pattern at Goodwill for 25 cents, and here's the dress I made for her. I made it a few months ago but she didn't quite fit into it until now.

Two Year Anniversary

We've been married two years today- Happy Day!

I love you Eddie!
